Dennis Paul  an experienced Councillor currently serves Worplesdon Parish Council in a non political role.  He served Holy Trinity Ward from 2015 until 2019.  His activities for Holy Trinity Ward over 4 years can be found at www.facebook.com/groups/holytrinityconservatives 

He stood in the Worplesdon Ward, where he lives (Perry Hill), for the Borough Elections in May 2019.

Dennis has 27 years experience in housing management.  He currently volunteers as Board Member for Abbots Hospital ( www.abbotshospital.org ), Guildford BC Holdings Ltd, and Holy Trinity Housing Association.

On Guildford Borough Council he was Vice Chairman of the Licensing Committee and has served on various committees including the Overview & Scrutiny Committee.

In his spare time he enjoys cycling, spending time with his children and family.  He also takes part in various community events and attends Resident meetings regularly in the Ward he currently represents.

Keith Witham is the Surrey County Councillor for Worplesdon, elected in 2012. He campaigned in the Worplesdon Ward for the Borough Elections in May 2019. His focus is always to first and foremost represent the views and concerns of local residents, either at Surrey County Council or Guildford Borough Council.

Keith has consistently opposed development in the Green Belt, and has opposed every proposal to develop in the Worplesdon Green Belt by either GBC in the Local Plan or by speculative developers.

He has actively supported local community groups and projects by successfully sponsoring Surrey County Council small grants for some 30 local organisations across Jacob's Well, Fairlands, Wood Street Village and Worplesdon, Perry Hill plus others across Guildford based locally.

He is a regular attender at meetings of Worplesdon Parish Council; the Jacobs Well Residents Association; the Fairlands, Liddington, and Gravetts Community Association (FLGCA), and the Wood Street Village Association - keeping his ear to the ground as to local concerns and being available to residents.

At Surrey County Council he was Chairman of the Adult Social Care/Social Care Services Select Committee for four years, and is now a member of the Environment Select Committee.

He is also a Member of the Joint SCC/GBC Guildford Joint Committee, set up to increase Joint working between the two Councils
